Parent Handbook

Public Holidays
East Beaumaris Kindergarten observes all public holidays and sessions will not run on public holidays, including those that fall within regular programming.
Term Dates 2022
Term 1: 31 January – 8 April*
Term 2: 26 April – 24 June
Term 3: 11 July – 16 September
Term 4: 3 October – 20 December
*Please note that staggered starts and small group sessions are held for both our King Parrots and Blue Wrens in the first weeks of Term 1 to allow a smooth transition. Details for your child’s sessions will be provided in advance.
Kinder Duty & Volunteering
We welcome all parents and carers to join us at kinder so you can share your child’s kinder experience with them and get to know the educators and other children. If you would like to come along for kinder duty or to volunteer in another capacity (e.g. share a special skill), please ensure you have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have submitted it to our Compliance Officer, Anna: ebkcompliance@gmail.com.
Applying for a volunteer WWCC is free and easy and once complete, lasts for 5 years.
