East Beaumaris Kindergarten has a dedicated team of early childhood educators who bring with them a wealth of experience, knowledge and culture. Our educators are respected for the important work they do and are focused on promoting a culture of learning, a sense of belonging and a sense of well-being in partnerships with families. They have a passionate commitment to maximise the learning for each child at the centre and help develop their potential.
Anne Lomax – Educator, 4 year old; Educational Leader & Nominated Supervisor
Anne is highly qualified; most recently completing a Master of Early Childhood Education to complement her Bachelor of Education and other studies. Anne is highly committed to play based learning, supporting children to engage with peers, developing confidence and independence in readiness for school. Through her practice Anne has memberships to professional organisations and holds executive roles within these organisations.
Her personal interests include: Spanish language, literature and culture, family, gardening and walks.
In addition to her teaching role at East Beaumaris Kindergarten, Anne will be the Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor for our kindergarten, providing support and guidance to the entire teaching team at EBK.
Sam Gill – Educator, 3 year old
Sam has been the three year old group educator since 2014 having worked previously in primary schools as a teacher and in a variety of early childhood settings as an educator and director.
She has a Bachelor of Early Childhood and a Bachelor of Primary Teaching.
Sam is a mother of twin girls and has grown up living in the Bayside area.
Kyra Gandini – Co-Educator, 3 & 4 year old
We welcomed Kyra to the EBK team in 2019. She works alongside Jenny & Sam as Co-Educators in the 3 & 4 year old groups.
Kyra completed her Diploma of early Childhood Education and Care and has worked previously as a Co-Educator in another Bayside kindergarten.
She lives near the beach with her young family in Seaford.
