Kyra Gandini

Educator: 3 Year-Old Group

Kyra hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and she is currently studying towards her bachelor degree.

For her, creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can truly be themselves is the most important aspect of early childhood. She strongly believes that every child has the potential for greatness and that their unique differences should be celebrated. She aims to create a fun and engaging environment that promotes hands-on play, encourages risk-taking, and fosters curiosity. She wants children to be excited about learning and feel empowered to pursue what interests them. She hopes to support children to develop the skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential, while also having a lot of fun and laughter along the way!

She loves living so close to the beach with her partner, two boys and their dog named Hank. Her favourite things to do are spending quality time with her family and going on exciting adventures together, like exploring new places, whether it’s on a hike or bike ride. When she needs relaxing, she enjoys taking some quiet time working in her veggie garden.

Bennie has a Diploma of Children’s Services and over 10 years experience in Australian early childhood settings in Queensland and Melbourne. She also has four years experience as a primary school teacher in Thailand. Bennie is currently studying her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.

Bennie believes that each child is unique, capable and talented in different ways. She views working with children as a rewarding career where children learn from her and she learns something from them every day. With a special interest in art therapy and child play therapy, Bennie believes children learn best when they feel a sense of safety, trust and respect. She endeavours to teach children to be active learners, researchers, and decision-makers.

Bennie feels lucky to work in a beautiful, natural setting that values connection and community. When away from the kindergarten environment, Bennie enjoys exploring nature, painting, and spending time with her family.

“I like my kinder teachers because they are nice…they help me figure out how to do activities.”

“My teachers are good and I like them. Jackie is the bravest! She isn’t even scared of spiders!”
