- *East Beaumaris Kindergarten is funded in part by a combination of state and federal funding which helps keep fees to families low. The Commonwealth and Victorian State Government currently provide partial funding to all services providing a 4 year old program of 15 hours per week. From 2022 The Victorian State Government will provide partial funding for 3 year old programs starting at 5 hours a week, increasing in 2023 to 15 hours a week. For more information go to www.vic.gov.au/three-year-old-kindergarten-victorians.
- All kindergartens charge fees to help meet the cost of running kindergarten programs. Fees are set by individual kindergartens and depend on the hours of the program and additional program costs such as incursions and excursions. Fees are reviewed on an annual basis, or as required by the Committee of Management.
- Children are deemed to be enrolled at the kindergarten as long as current fees are paid. Fee collection is mandatory and the Committee has the discretion to withdraw service for non-payment of fees.
- From 2022 children will only be eligible for one year of 3 year old funding and one year of 4 year old funding unless they are assessed to have a developmental delay. Please consider the age of your child when enrolling in a 3 year old program and the age they will be when they commence primary school after two years of kindergarten.
